Oscar’s Restaurant Website Redesign

Leyh Designs had the opportunity to rebuild the online presence of Oscar’s Restaurant, a longtime Cumberland, Maryland favorite. The goal was to create a modern, polished website that still felt true to the personality and history of Oscar’s — a family-friendly restaurant known for great food, drinks, catering, and bringing people together.

The new website was designed around the customer experience. Leyh Designs reorganized the site to make it easier for visitors to explore Oscar’s extensive menu, learn about catering options, discover private party rooms and events, find restaurant hours and contact information, and quickly reach the restaurant from any device. Special attention was given to mobile usability, clear calls to action, local search visibility, and creating dedicated content for Oscar’s catering and private-event services.

Visually, the redesign combines Oscar’s recognizable green branding with a warmer, more refined restaurant-inspired color palette. Authentic restaurant photography, updated graphics, custom icons, refreshed branding elements, and stronger typography were used throughout the site to give Oscar’s a more professional and cohesive digital presence while maintaining the character customers already know.

Leyh Designs also developed new website copy and local SEO content centered around Oscar’s Cumberland location, menu, catering services, private events, and more than 30 years of serving the community. The result is a website designed not only to look better, but to help customers find what they need faster and encourage more menu views, phone calls, catering inquiries, and event bookings.
